Some Paintings

Here are some paintings I've been doing lately for my classes.  Appreciate any feedback.

  1. Awesome stuff dude. I love how clean the interior one is. Clean, crisp, and great lighting. Really good use of color too. I think you can start to apply that to your more organic paintings. Especially the Aztec one. It's got a nice painterly feel but it's a bit muddy. If you just pop it out with some hard edges, it'll look amazing. The zombie one too, try to punch out some of the zombies and push back some of the others. Give a little bit more contrast. Good work.

  2. Thx man. Actually, my instructor made a good point about the interior painting, which I totally agree. He says it looks too grid-ed. He pointed out that most of my shapes are rectangular. He told me to try and break up the rectangles, and add more intersting silhouettes to make it look less blocky. So like he said to make the curtains more fluid like real curtains rather than just rectangles on a wall.
