Here are some color comps I worked on this week. Next week, we're suppose to take two of these and take them to a finished level. Appreciate any suggestions.
I'm lovin these. Hard to pick since there's no real story or theme to these color comps. If I had to pick one, I like the stand off at the gas station. That's my favorite by far. One thing though, you could probably crop the car out. It detracts from the focus of the duel. Right now it's a duel, then a big blob, then the car. Your eye gets lead off the page. If the car is there to give a feel for the time period, you can probably place it else where and extend the composition to the left. Great work though I wanna see that one finished.
Another thing. If you did finish that comp. The length and hardness of the character's shadow doesn't match the background. Should be more sunsetish right? It'll probably add even more emotion to it too.
